My goal is simply to help improve the lives of the families of Garner. We can best do this by taking a multi-planned approach.
1. Transparency. The people who represent us and our families must be transparent in there political dealings on our behalf. Never again should money be wasted because of a law suit, caused by what appeared to be "smoky backroom" deals. When called to account for their actions and decisions, citizens should not and must not be made to feel that they are in the wrong for asking their representatives to give an accounting. All elected officials, at all levels of government, serve at the will of the people and are elected to serve the people. When asked for explanations for their actions, nothing less than a detailed explanation is acceptable.
2. Fiscal Responsibility. I will help you retain what is yours, as it pertains to your money and personal property. Government should be localized and should begin as small as possible and remain as small and as inexpensive as possible. As a member of the Town Council, I will endeavor to lessen the death grip that government holds on your wallet and your life.
3. Wake CountySchools. There are many problems with the Wake County School Systems and the Garner Town Council needs to take an active roll in correcting it.

Here are just a few of the school issues that face our children, are families and our community. When was the last time that the Town Council stood before the School Board on behalf of our children? Each of these issues have causes and effects and we need a Town Council that will work together with the School Board to correct these problems and help our children attend school where they live.
